DiSC and MBTI describe how people behave in general — their preferences, tendencies, and communication styles in normal conditions. DCSA specifically maps how people make decisions under pressure — which is a different, more operationally relevant question. Most organisations already know their people’s general styles. What they don’t know is why decision-making breaks down when pressure increases. That’s what DCSA answers.
For the full workshop to produce structural change, yes — ideally everyone in the decision-making unit attends, including leadership. A partial attendance workshop can still be valuable, but it limits the depth of protocol design. The pre-workshop gap analysis can help identify the minimum viable group if full attendance isn’t possible.
The Gap Analysis is a short structured assessment completed by a team lead or HR representative before the workshop. It takes about 10 minutes, produces a PDF report with three scores (Distribution Imbalance, Friction Risk, and Alignment Readiness), and frames the starting conditions for the facilitated session. It is indicative only — not a validated psychometric instrument — and is designed to open a structured conversation, not replace one.
The Half-Day Intensive and Series formats can be adapted for virtual delivery. The Full-Day Workshop is recommended in person — the depth of protocol design and the quality of interpersonal work in the session are meaningfully higher when the team is in the same room. Hybrid delivery is not recommended.
The workshop works best with teams of 6–20 people. Smaller teams can still benefit but may not have the full four-type distribution required for deep structural work. Larger teams (20+) may require a modified format or a series approach — get in touch to discuss.
That depends on how the team embeds the vocabulary after the session. Teams that actively use the DCSA language in meetings — naming collision patterns as they arise — consistently report that it remains operationally useful 6–12 months later. The Series format includes a review session specifically designed to embed and recalibrate 4–6 weeks post-workshop.
